I have been selling crafts for about 40 of my 58 years. I started with selling hats and bags but soon discovered that if I mixed it up a bit, more like having a full service retail store, I did better. Working my way into selling kids costumes and little fairy environments I started selling on ebay in 2000 and soon entered the Renaissance Faire circuit which is where I do most of my selling now. I make both adult and kids costumes and fill in with some commercially made accessories (tiaras and crowns) and gifts(fairies and dragons and griffins oh my!)Harry Potter and the current pirate craze has helped spark both my imagination and that of my buyers.

I sell at Renaissance Faires too. They are such a great venue. Not as fond of your eight legged friends, though. :-)
